ITB Match

Data Methodology

ITB Match combines public-source records, deterministic rules, taxonomy overlap, and separately labelled AI-classified fields. ITB Match provides informational and preliminary assessments based on public sources and user-provided information. It does not determine transaction eligibility, credit value, approval, procurement selection, or legal compliance. Final determinations remain with the applicable contractor, Government of Canada authorities, and professional advisors.

Official Sources

Official source data is imported, hashed, versioned, and linked to provenance records. Failed or stale imports do not replace the last known-good public data.

Calculated Fields

Currency totals, pathway categories, confidence scores, and match components are calculated fields. They are labelled separately from official values.

AI Boundaries

AI can assist with classification and summarization only when outputs are schema-validated and evidence-grounded. AI values do not overwrite official facts.

Review Workflow

Low-confidence links, source conflicts, parser warnings, and material changes remain visible to administrators for review before publication-sensitive enrichment.
